North Carolina Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson took the important step of advocating for children in public education on Tuesday when he announced his Fairness and Accountability in the Classroom for Teachers and Students, or F. A. C. T. S., Taskforce. Robinson said that the group was created to address what he believes is "indoctrination" in the state's classrooms.

"We call it indoctrination, but it can be called anything," Robinson said during a press conference announcing the taskforce's creation. "You can call it politicizing the classroom."

"This is not about political ideology," he went on. "If I go to a classroom and I can't put my opinions aside long enough ... and show impressionable young minds just the facts without my opinion, I have failed as an educator."

Robinson credited concerned North Carolina parents with the inspiration to create the task force.

Those who wish to report issues concerning indoctrination may do so here.
